The UMLSCC is a contest for MLS teams in which the Champion must defend the title every game. This is a fun-fan friendly way to raise interest in MLS games. The UMLSCC started when the San Jose Clash defeated DC United 1-0 in the first ever MLS game 1996. Since then the title has changed 155 times in 412 games. The current UMLSCC are Los Angeles. This is LA's 14th title.

FC Dallas wins 10th title over Kansas City

FC Dallas defeated the Kansas City Wizards by a scoreline of 1-2, which is the 2nd most occuring scoreline in UMLSCC games.

FC Dallas is now a 10 time title holder and the 3rd time they have won the title on a Sunday. Kenny Cooper and Aaron Pitchkolan scored for FC Dallas. Pitchkolan's goal coming of combined defensive mistakes by KC's Johnson and Burciaga in the 94th minute.

The next UMLSCC game is Saturday the 29th when DC United plays at FC Dallas. DCU will be looking for their 10 title. DC and FCD have only met twice in UMLSCC games and only once in Dallas. That only meeting in Dallas was a 1-1 draw(the most occuring UMLSCC scoreline) back in June 26, 2004 and DC United retained the title that day.
